Description: Buddha in lotus position on a lotus base, with serene face, long lobed ears, holding an alms bowl and wearing a robe decorated on the trim
 
Material: Bronze
 
Origin: Uncertain, possibly Tibet
 
Maker: unknown but bears a maker’s mark on the bottom in the form of a four petalled flower
 
Age: Probably first half of 20th century
 
Dimensions: 9.5 x 6 x 3.5 cm
 
Condition: Excellent with nice old toning.

Comments: This little bronze is very nicely made for its size. The face of the Buddha and his clothing has been sensitively rendered. It has signs of use and handling in the way the metal has toned.
